EMS Interface is a tool to connect the IST/Switch to the EMS server, which enables them to monitor the ATM networks, External networks and IST/Switch Processes.

An ATM monitoring tool called EMS is capable of processing the ATM Solicited and Unsolicited messages as well as other system health messages, which are received by this application from the Switch to which it connects.
